Mr. Flipper's Son Gets 3rd response from Witness Mother - Your Advice ?
by flipper inso my son after sending the 2nd letter you guys read the other day , the next day gets this response from his mother.
you will notice in reading the 1st paragraph of this response , i believe the first half of the 1st paragraph is a quote from some watchtower publications or something to prove god's existence , then after in the second paragraph she gets down and dirty trying to " convert " my son back.
so here it is, see what you think , and would love to hear your takes and advice.

several have said what I am thinking: why is it always 'you want to rebel, not answer to anyone'. like that's a bad thing? just say what you mean mom, you taught me to decide right from wrong, to stand on my own, to be strong and think things through, but turns out, you don't want me to actually do any of that. . .
jeez, can I write to her???

Relief from being free
by LouBelle ini've now been out of the organisation for over two years.
i stay quite close to a kingdom hall - drive past it every day - whenever i look at it i have this huge sense of relief wash over me - this is every day - and is such a good feeling.
i thank god i'm no long trapped in that organisation, that i'm not limited in what i can do.. the sense of relief is so wonderful - i'd like to know if even after years do you still feel that.. it feels like little champaign bubbles popping in my stomach..

I finally spoke to my parents. Best thing I did.
by ThomasCovenant inseveral month ago i finally got up the courage to speak to my parents about the reasons i left the borg.
up until then things were brewing up inside me to the point where i thought i would explode in rage.. even though they were aware of the basic reasons they still had no idea about how angry i was.. friday afternoon i started by asking my mother that i would like to arrange a meeting between the 2 of them and my wife and i to discuss the 't'.
i didn't want to get into detail at this stage because it would be unfair on just her without my elder dad being there.

I have a serious and I need your help.....
by Faithful-n-Discreet Wife inthis time last year i met the man of my dreams...he was incredibly smart and charming...he was in tune with me...he made me feel like i was the best thing that ever happened to him.
at first he was a little shy...he didn't think anyone of my caliber would even give him a chance...conveniantly though i had my run of bad guys...and wanted someone different.
he was a devout christian...and i had been yearning for years for some direction.

Here's your solution, don't worry I've got it all covered:
1) Get yourself a vibrator!!! Solo sex with guaranteed happy ending.
2) Go work in the car business for while where you can be treated like crap and get paid for it. Abusive men abound.
3) Sneak on over to North Korea (God bless them) and live in fear for your life, all the while mindlessly praising 'Dear Leader' for many blessings. Gotcher mind-numbing, thought controlling religious-like obsession right here darling'. . .
I promise, you won't miss him!

Yes. Not on an individual level, like 'yes I gassed up the car dear' but didn't really.
But in defense of their way of life they are to lie. They call it 'war strategy', and in the case of doctrine-new and old, and claims against their leaders (UN, pedophile, Mexico scandals) they follow their leaders and talk talk talk while knowing none none none of the facts.
Like I once said, 'no no sir, I don't know or care what Russell believed, what he believed doesn't matter to me, I don't follow men, he wasn't a Mason or a 7th Day Adv. . .what's that sir. . .why would that matter? It doesn't matter, nor does it matter that they had a Christmas tree at Bethel, wait how do you know that sir? are you an Apostate???'

A fricking shovel, you know, to bury the rats.
Hell I don't know. When I was 15 and believed it all, I planned to sneak in my Cagney & Lacey recorded video tapes, cuz I figured I'd be bored. I planned it: I'd wear a lead-lined over coat so Joe Hoover couldn't see.

Thanks for all your great replies. I like Numinous' comment about getting out for a walk and getting a wiff of Christmas air that others probably miss with much activity going on.
I got to reading you all and thinking that what I think I maybe miss is childhood xmases with lots of business and people, even when I was a Hoho I used to long for a big family Christmas, I thought I was retarded--pioneering and longing for family all around the table for the HOlidays!!!
